Chris Medina Brown (he/him/his)
As a mixed race Latino adoptee, I am grateful to find myself providing services across the Bay Area. Rooted in a trauma informed and social justice lens, I carry my work with the goal of providing a nourishing and safe space for folks of different identities and experiences to start or continue their therapeutic journey. I strive to provide warm, genuine and empathetic connections to those I work with while also naming systemic and generational forms of oppression that continue to harm marginalized folks. I look forward to supporting and working with the many folks that I come across in my professional career as a therapist.
Outside of the therapeutic office, I currently hold an assistant teaching position at Saint Mary’s College of California in the school of Kalamanovitz graduate program . My role as an educator is to support upcoming clinicians develop, expand and hone their clinical skills. I am fortunate enough to be supporting school psychologists, school counselors , and marriage and family therapists. It is an privilege to find myself in the education scene as another way to give back to the communities around me and support like-minded folks on their own pursuit and passion in the mental health field.
